A Day in the Life This position is an exciting opportunity to work with the Diabetes business. Medtronic announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and to reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic. The Diabetes division, now known as MiniMed, completed its IPO in March 2026. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investment to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. While you will start your employment with Medtronic, upon completion of required local legal and employment processes, we expect your employment to transfer to MiniMed, subject to business needs and any applicable information and consultation requirements in your jurisdiction. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading commercial activities at a national level. Therefore, the role requires availability to travel approximately 50% of the time, along with a strong field presence and the ability to work from our São Paulo/SP office as business needs require. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Lead, develop, and coach a team of Sales Supervisors and Sales Representatives, fostering high performance and alignment with the organization's culture. Set sales targets, monitor KPIs, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure achievement of business objectives. Develop the technical and commercial capabilities of the sales force, ensuring consistent execution of company strategies. Create and implement retention, loyalty, and growth strategies for the patient base, supporting long-term business sustainability. Monitor the patient journey, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing actions to enhance adherence and patient experience. Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and performance data to identify growth opportunities and mitigate commercial risks. Develop and execute business expansion strategies, including value-based contracting models, clinical outcomes initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Lead Market Access initiatives and complex commercial negotiations, collaborating with Marketing, Clinical, and Technical Service teams to maximize value creation for customers and patients. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor's degree completed English (advanced level) People leadership experience Strong experience in sales funnel management and forecasting through CRM platforms (SFDC/Salesforce), with a proven ability to generate insights and drive data-based decision-making.
