Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Talent Officer, The Director, Executive Advantage leads the global executive talent management strategy for VP-level and above team members. The role oversees executive onboarding, leadership development, succession management, talent assessment, and VP-plus learning programs. Building on the function’s established foundation and success, this leader will continue to advance its strategy, operating model, roadmap, and capabilities to meet evolving business needs. The role requires strong partnership and collaboration with senior leaders, including engagement with Executive Committee (EC) members/L1 leaders.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the global executive talent management strategy for VP-level and above team members, including planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of the organization's talent management strategy across a region, large business group, and globally Leads and develops the Executive Advantage operating model, priorities, and roadmap. Oversee executive onboarding, leadership development, succession management, talent assessment, and related talent programs for VP+. Provide strategic, high-touch support to EC members/L1 leaders, and other senior executives on a regular basis. Partner with talent management, learning and development, HR, and business leaders to deliver aligned and effective programs. Build, develop, and lead the Executive Advantage team. Set program priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely, consistent global delivery. Provide governance and oversight for executive talent practices, policies, and processes. Drives strategies and initiatives at the global/regional/business group level by exercising some governance oversight in one or more areas (e.g., key policy decisions, strategic approaches to Talent. Use talent data and insights to inform executive development, succession, and workforce decisions. Maintain knowledge of external talent management practices and trends. Develops relationships with talent management industry professionals and/or organizations in order to maintain current market trends knowledge for internal use Manage the function’s budget and represent executive talent management in enterprise-wide initiatives.

Education and Experience

Required Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in business, human resources, organizational development, or a related field is preferred. 12+ years in talent acquisition and sourcing, with significant strategic experience, including executive-level influence and succession planning. Progressive experience in talent management, HR, executive development, or organizational development including leadership development, succession management, talent assessment, and executive onboarding is preferred. Experience leading programs for VP-level and above populations. People leadership experience and demonstrated success building and developing high-performing teams.
