 We are Lockheed Martin Are you ready to take on a leadership role in F-35 Production Operations? As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor, supporting the Horizontal Tail/Vertical Tail/Arresting Hook Bay Assembly, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production teams responsible for assembling parts for the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft. Though this position is listed for a specific shift, the selected candidate must be willing to work any shift, including potential shift rotations, weekend schedules, and required overtime to support production needs. What You Will Be Doing • Supervise and direct a team of production employees, assigning tasks and ensuring proper execution. • Drive build plans and implement changes to improve quality, schedule adherence, and cost performance. • Foster a culture of Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention. • Ensure that employees maintain required certifications for specialized tasks. • Promote and maintain a safe work environment, addressing any unsafe conditions promptly. • Enforce compliance with Core processes and program-specific procedures. • Proactively identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and technical competencies. • Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to address skill gaps, training needs, and employee engagement. You will be the Manufacturing Supervisor for our production team.  Our team is responsible for acheiving exceptional results in schedule, efficiency, quality, and cost savings, while maintaining a safe and efficient working enviroment.  Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelors Degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education. Ability to drive results in accordance with schedule. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Microsoft Office proficient. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, team building and problem solving skills. Solid technical and customer interface skills required. Desired Skills 
 Demonstrate leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide direction in a dynamic business environment. Strong commnication skills. Possess ability to respond quickly to shifting priorities and emergency situations that could impact the flow of parts. Experience working with a collective bargaining agreement. Must be self -motivated, able to function autonomously, well organized, detail oriented and efficient under pressure.
