Standard Job Description This is a Production Planning role in support of manufacturing and production operations in Kings Bay, Georgia. We are seeking a candidate that will be responsible for performing a variety of planning tasks in various buildings at SWFLANT, Kings Bay. Tasks such as the creation and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions, service/production orders and inspection instructions. Coordinate day-to-day efforts with production, engineering, and SPK organizations. Monitor and resolve material requirements planning (MRP) issues to ensure inventory balances support supply and demand requirements. Develop planning resource tools in support of operations using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint; create manufacturing/production products, such as service/production orders within the applicable computer program. Ensure processing documentation is released in support of master schedule requirements. This position is fully onsite and may require occasional off-hours support. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in related field. Experience with Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of manufacturing, operations, production, or planning environments Exceptional communication skills (verbal, presentation, written) Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Interim Secret required prior to start. No dual citizenship. Desired Skills Minimum 2 years of FBM or SWF experience. Familiarity with planning/scheduling/manufacturing work instructions functions Proven analytical skills Prior production/manufacturing experience High quality/error free output Working knowledge of production systems, manufacturing systems, or SAP applications. Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications. Documented ability to work independently and with a group. Ability to adapt to changing needs and requirements.
