Abbott's Structural Heart division in Switzerland is looking for a Country Manager Structural Heart Switzerland based in Switzerland The Opportunity The Country Manager Structural Heart Switzerland is responsible for maximizing revenue growth, profitability, and market penetration across Abbott's Structural Heart business in Switzerland. This leadership role owns the country P&L and is accountable for delivering top-line sales performance, managing operating expenses in line with budget expectations, and leading a high-performing commercial organization. The Country Manager will develop and execute strategic growth plans, strengthen relationships with key customers and healthcare stakeholders, and ensure organizational excellence through effective leadership, talent development, and operational execution. Working closely with regional and global partners, this individual will position Abbott as the partner of choice in Structural Heart therapies while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, ethics, and patient focus.
What You'll Work On
Develop and execute country business plans designed to achieve sales growth, profitability objectives, and market share expansion. Establish sales targets based on market opportunities, customer needs, and strategic priorities. Define and implement sales strategies and tactical plans to maximize market penetration across the Structural Heart portfolio. Own and manage all aspects of the country P&L, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and expense objectives. Monitor SG&A expenditures and variable selling costs to optimize business performance and profit margins. Identify, assess, and capitalize on market opportunities while proactively managing business risks. Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers against operating plans and strategic objectives. Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus. Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospital administrators, healthcare stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and professional organizations. Ensure Abbott maintains a strong presence and reputation within the Swiss Structural Heart market. Partner with regional and global stakeholders to align local execution with broader business strategies. Drive effective resource allocation and organizational effectiveness to maximize business performance. Take proactive actions to improve operational efficiency and minimize unnecessary costs. Ensure full compliance with Abbott policies, quality standards, industry regulations, and local legal requirements. Serve as a role model for Abbott's values and Code of Conduct in all business interactions. Represent Abbott at customer meetings, industry events, scientific congresses, and professional forums.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Significant commercial leadership experience within the medical device, healthcare, cardiovascular, or related industry. Demonstrated experience managing revenue growth and business performance within a complex healthcare environment. Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies and commercial plans. Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales and commercial teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market dynamics, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the
