In this exciting role as a Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer I, you will have responsibility for designing, implementing, and testing embedded software/firmware that maximizes the value of our oximetry and anesthesia monitoring products for our customers. This is an onsite role located at our Lafayette, CO campus. Primary Responsibilites: You will design, develop , test , document , and maintain embedded software and firmware using mixed-signal MCUs for vital sign monitoring platforms You will apply the appropriate standards , processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and wide range of products. You may engage with internal and external stakeholders , including interfacing with clinicians , customers, and KOL s , to better understand use environments and needs. You will learn about the technologies used to measure physiological signals and knowledge of human physiology to support product design decision s and priori tize design tradeoffs .
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering or related engineering/science degree with applicable course work and knowledge . You must be a ble to work in a team environment both locally and globally .

Coursework in m edical device development , design control, FDA and MDR regulations Class e xperience in using AI in code and test development Digital circuit design knowledge Experience with C/C++ and Python Examples of projects where you demonstrated skills in “systems thinking” – ability to consider problems, implementations, and impacts at a higher system level Knowledge of safety risk management including SFMEAs and cybersecurity risk management Effective communication and presentation skills Excellent prioritization and organizational skills Highly skilled in problem solving and analysis with high attention to detail General knowledge of biology and physiology For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
