Lockheed Martin is seeking a Tooling Engineer for a Tool Design & Integration Team supporting an ADP program WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING This role will be responsible for the end-to-end tooling lifecycle of project tooling to include tooling design and integration from initial requirements through delivery to the production floor. In this role, the work scope includes but not limited to: Responsible for the design, development and implementation of tools, dies, gages, jigs, fixtures, and prototype models required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, safety, and performance requirements. Understanding a wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Review engineering changes to determine tooling impacts, develop tooling bids and schedules, and ensure schedule adherence. Engage with engineers, manufacturing, safety, quality, facilities, program managers, tool manufacturing, and external tool suppliers regarding aspects of quality, cost, and schedules relating to tooling. Lead activities to improve processes within the tool design product flow and represent Tool Engineering in meetings with program stakeholders & customers. Working knowledge of LM Aero Tool Design procedures and processes including PM-4053 & AC-7902 Ensure tools and equipment are specified, scoped and built to meet engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements. Responsible for developing robust Statements of Work (SOWs) when contracting suppliers to execute work supporting our programs. Must be US citizen. Active/Final Secret clearance with most recent investigation completed within the last 5-years. Designs, develops and implements industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. May use CAD/CAM to design tools.  Experienced in the use of 3D design software (e.g. CATIA, NX, Solid-Works, etc.) Experience with GD&T Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing practices and principles Experience working in multi-functional teams Strong project management skills Must be able to interpret engineering blueprint requirements Experience with leading projects Strong verbal/written/presentation skills Active Secret Clearance required to apply    Desired Skills
