Collins Aerospace is looking for a Cost Estimator who will be responsible for generating recurring cost estimates and providing analysis services in support of business proposals, design to cost efforts, engineering changes and should-cost estimates.  The candidate will be required to coordinate and collaborate with contracts, program management, engineering, supply chain, plant sites and pricing.  In addition, the candidate will be required to collect and analyze data, create compliant estimate packages or analysis, assist with the creation of new estimating tools/processes and actively participate in continuous improvement.

You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience Knowledge of MS Office with stronger emphasis in MS Excel-Pivot Tables, formulas, macros Familiar with Manufacturing Processes. Familiar with BOMs, product structures and reading engineering drawings.

We Prefer Previous experience in cost estimation Knowledge of SAP Understanding of materials, labor and overhead rates, standards, material and or learning factors.
