The Role
Bristol Myers Squibb is looking to recruit a permanent Senior Manager, EMEA In-Market Distribution. Senior Manager, EMEA In-Market Distribution, is responsible for the management of functional execution activities including the management of the relationship and performance of the distribution centers per the responsibilities section. Based on your function, department or individual position, you will have the opportunity to discuss with your Manager the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time, over a two-week period, with the flexibility to choose the days that align with your collaboration needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Own end-to-end in-market distribution operations for assigned EMEA markets, ensuring continuity of supply, business continuity readiness, and timely resolution of service issues. Manage 3PL performance, governance, contracts, operating manuals, SOPs, SLAs, KPIs, service exceptions, and cost control, including preparation of QBR and business review materials. Accountable for inventory accuracy and control, including cycle counts, physical inventories, destructions, launches, FDD requests, delivery reports, SAP inventory posting integrity, variances, redeployments, and redress activities. Partner with in-market logistics, QA, CPSO, Compliance, OTC, Finance, Planning, Regulatory, and regional logistics teams to support planning, escalations, issue resolution, and market-specific requirements. Ensure compliance with GDP, cGMP, EHS, SOX/finance controls, local procedures, partner oversight requirements, external reporting obligations, and audit/inspection readiness. Support logistics incident reports, mock recalls, quality forums, corrective actions, evidence provision, and follow-up actions through to closure. Manage destruction governance, purchase order activities, month-end reporting, finance documentation, and related financial controls in line with internal policies. Support operational changes, warehouse transitions, partner onboarding, lane changes, launches, lifecycle activities, discontinuations, and inventory disposition while maintaining supply continuity. Drive risk, expiry, and short shelf-life management through market reviews, supply forums, and clear action ownership. Identify and implement process simplification, digitization, documentation improvement, automation, and other sustainable continuous improvement opportunities. Represent Distribution in market, regional, BMS, supply chain, and local forums, and support ad-hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives as required. Lead, coach, and develop team members by setting clear objectives, providing feedback, building capability, fostering collaboration, and ensuring coverage planning for business continuity Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required: Strong experience in Supply Chain with a solid understanding of upstream and downstream inventory processes. Proven ability to work effectively in international, multicultural environments. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with a clear sense of ownership
