Senior Electrical Supervisor

Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Senior Electrical Supervisor for the Natchitoches Engineered Wood Products manufacturing facility located in Natchitoches, LA. The Sr. Electrical Supervisor is a full-time, salaried exempt role and reports to the Maintenance Manager. This role plans, leads, and directs the daily activities of a team of electricians, PLC Technicians, and mechanics in the areas of safety, quality, and electrical maintenance for all equipment, buildings, and rolling stock. Key Functions: - Executing electrical maintenance activities in assigned areas, with the safety of associates and contractors being the highest priority. - Leading preventive & predictive electrical maintenance/process reliability in assigned shift and area. - Analyzing data to ensure proper down day tasks. - Administrative and reporting activities. - Supporting the improvement of key performance indicators, continuous improvement of maintenance functions, and for department budget cost effectiveness. - Developing and training associates including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. - Participating in and/or leading initiatives for capital projects and problem-solving activities as assigned. - Assuring purchasing functions follow established policies and procedures. - Utilizing preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime - Supporting, maintaining, and improving processes associated with the computerized maintenance management system for process reliability. - Facilitating team meetings & trainings with assigned team. - Identifying safety, environmental, quality, and production issues. - Providing leadership for the ongoing development of the maintenance team. - Supporting training and development plans to improve skills, knowledge, and team performance. - Encouraging innovation. - Leading the team by proactively resolving employee issues, building teamwork, and ensuring adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. - Staffing, recruiting and retaining talent. - Other duties as assigned.
