GENERAL FUNCTION: The Assistant Marketing Manager assists with the development and implementation of overall marketing programs and internal communications for the assigned line of business or region. Coordinates events and promotional programs and helps to ensure the successful execution of these programs. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Recommend marketing solutions for assigned business line or region and support assigned areas in implementing marketing initiatives that support sales goals. Collaborate with marketing managers to develop optimal communication channel strategy within appropriate channels including print, broadcast, and digital mediums. May manage client events including coordination, promotion, RSVP tracking and event budget management Support implementation and optimization of marketing and communication strategies by coordinating content sourcing, creation, and content distribution strategy. Responsible for tracking and communicating the marketing budget for the assigned division or region. Engage with line of business and regional partners in a capacity of educating, training, and defining various marketing initiatives in order to create awareness, generate sales, and deepen customer relationships Create, implement, track, and execute sales contests and incentives. Evaluate effectiveness of marketing and advertising programs and recommend changes in order to drive results for assigned line of business, channel or marketing medium. Support the company brand through the adherence to branding guidelines. Manage approvals of new assets. Responsible for managing multiple vendor relationships. Perform any other duties as assigned. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required. Minimum Four (4) years of job related work experience. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent PC skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong organizational and project management skills. Must be able to work effectively in both a team environment and independently Work requires the ability to multi-task and be flexible.
