Our South East Queensland (SEQ) team brings together deep local knowledge with world-class capability, offering the opportunity to work on meaningful city-shaping projects while staying connected to a broader community of technical experts. Our SEQ Transport Planning team is in a strong position, with a growing pipeline of work across major transport programs. We’re looking for a Transport Engineer / Modeller to join the team and play a key role in supporting this continued momentum. How you’ll make a difference Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a transport modeller Experience in delivering operational modelling e.g. microsimulation and mesoscopic modelling for technically challenging projects Excellent communication, presentation and analysis skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Qualifications Recognised tertiary qualifications in engineering, transport, mathematics, economics, geography, computer science, statistics, physics or equivalent discipline Experience in one or more operational modelling platforms e.g. VISSIM,VisVAP, Aimsun, SIDRA Experience in using and developing scripts and macros in these packages Programming experience in Python, SQL, Visual Basic Experience in the use of GIS techniques in the application to transport modelling outputs and analysis.
