Quality/GMS Manager Position summary: The Quality / GMS (Global Management System) Manager leads the quality management system and continuous improvement program for a facilities environment (single site). This role drives consistent, compliant service delivery across hard and soft services by owning process governance, audits, corrective actions, and performance reporting, and by partnering with facilities operations, engineering, and vendors to improve outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Own and maintain the facilities GMS/QMS, including process governance, document control, and records management. Establish site/portfolio quality standards for facilities operations (hard/soft services) and ensure teams and suppliers follow them. Plan and lead internal audits and readiness activities for external reviews/certifications (as applicable); track actions to closure. Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis and effectiveness checks. Define and track facilities quality KPIs (examples: SLA completion, emergency work performance, customer satisfaction, budget accuracy, invoice cycle time) and provide recurring reporting and trend insights. (Facilities KPI examples are reflected in the Corrigo facilities dashboards content.) Facilitate management reviews and governance cadence; ensure risks, issues, and improvement actions are documented and closed. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (process mapping, standard work, waste reduction Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in facilities management, engineering, operations, quality, or related field. Practical experience with audits, CAPA, and document/process control. Strong stakeholder management skills (operations, engineering, EHS, procurement/supply chain, finance). Strong analytical skills (KPI definition, dashboarding, trends, and action planning).
Preferred qualifications
ISO management system experience (quality and/or integrated management systems). (Facilities context reference: ISO-management system covering health and safety, environmental and quality.) Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) or equivalent continuous improvement experience. Experience in multi-site facilities operations and vendor-managed service models. Process design and standardization Audit planning and execution Corrective action management (CAPA) Stakeholder management and communication Training development and facilitation Data-driven continuous improvement This role supports a professional facilities management discipline focused on integrating people, systems, place, process, and technology.
