Field Technical Engineer – Electrophysiology - Bordeaux or South West

We are seeking a Field Technical Engineer (Electrophysiology) to join our EP team in the South-West region of France, based in or around Bordeaux. As a Field Technical Engineer, you will partner closely with physicians, electrophysiologists, and catheter laboratory teams to provide technical and clinical support during procedures. You will play a key role in the successful adoption and utilization of Abbott's electrophysiology technologies and contribute to improving outcomes for patients living with heart rhythm disorders.

Provide technical support during Electrophysiology procedures, including mapping and ablation cases. Deliver product training and education to physicians, nurses, and cath lab personnel. Support the implementation and optimization of Abbott EP technologies and solutions. Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals across your territory. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical teams to achieve business objectives. Maintain a high level of clinical and technical expertise within Electrophysiology. Ensure compliance with Abbott quality and regulatory standards.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field. Experience supporting electrophysiology, cardiac rhythm management, structural heart, or cath lab procedures. Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn advanced cardiac technologies. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment. Fluent French and professional English. Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory. Valid driver's license.

Previous experience as a Clinical Specialist, Field Technical Engineer, or Application Specialist within the medical device industry. Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures, 3D mapping systems, and ablation technologies. Experience supporting physicians in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
