As our Senior Manager you’ll be providing international transaction tax services including tax structuring, tax due diligence and tax modelling to a broad range of high-profile clients. This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options. Your key responsibilities
100% dedicated to servicing a large property REIT. This critical and exciting role is a hybrid of private and in-house skills which will include the following: Building impactful relationships within the client’s business (e.g. finance, legal, transaction teams); Act as key “anchor” of EY’s delivery of services to the client; Project managing income tax compliance and overall tax transaction timelines and delivables; Responsible for corporate tax provision and tax returns (with delivery supported by a broader team); Provide assistance in driving process changes in service deliverables by utilising latest technlogiy solutions; Provide assistance in post transaction implementation and beyond Provide day to day advisory support for the client; If desired, provide transaction support e.g. buy-side / sell side assistance
Skills and attributes for success
Australian tax experience ideally gained in a top tier accounting firm, corporate, business consulting or legal environment Ability to develop strong and broad relationships with clients and provide a high level of client service Ability to manage a team and delegate work to junior team members Strong project management skills Ability to drive process changes and excited by the opportunities of technology Corporate tax compliance experience Ability to communicate with various business teams to find relevant facts / answers to manage tax risk and opportunities.
