Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced Regional Supply Planning Specialist to take charge of end-to-end supply planning operations across our Asia sites. This role plays a critical part in balancing customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels of each site, ensuring smooth supply chain workflows, timely deliveries, and cost-effective operations. The specialist will work collaboratively with the site planning team, production department, and demand planning team on a smooth supply plan, mitigate potential risks, and drive ongoing improvements. This position demands a strategic mindset, robust data analysis skills, demonstrated planning experience, and the agility to adapt to dynamic market conditions and regional requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Formulate and implement mid-term and short-term regional supply plans that align with business goals, demand forecasts, and production capacities. Leverage rough cut capacity planning (RCCP) to verify the feasibility of supply plans and conduct in-depth analysis of constraints on specific production lines. • Lead production transfer initiatives to support the development of a well-balanced RCCP plan and foster a cost-effective supply chain. • Monitor and collaborate closely with the site planning team to ensure the seamless execution of supply plans across all sites. Proactively identify and manage supply chain risks, working closely with the site planning team and key relevant stakeholders to develop contingency plans that guarantee supply continuity and minimize adverse impacts on the business. • Oversee tolling activities, primarily including the quotation process, supporting regional planning manager in finalizing the renewal of tolling agreements and qualifying new tolling partners. • Perform data analysis and reporting on supply planning performance metrics (e.g., inventory days on hand (DOH), inventory aging, forecast accuracy, delivery performance) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and distribute regular reports and dashboards to enhance stakeholder visibility into supply planning performance. • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in supply chain planning, and apply these insights to improve the agility and sustainability of regional supply planning processes. PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Education • University bachelor degree. Work Experience • 3-5 years of proven experience in supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations, preferably in a regional or multi-site environment. • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and propose actionable solutions. • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively engage with regional • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to changing business needs and supply
