Definition We are seeking a Category Procurement Manager. This person will manage strategic breakthrough categories to deliver year-over-year Quality Cost Logistics Development Management (QCLDM) performance improvement.

Accountable for the development, communication, and implementation of a worldwide sourcing strategy for a specific category. Identifying performance gaps within the supply base and developing improvement plans for the identified gaps. Collaborating with the Supply Network on risk mitigation and using predictive cost modeling both geographic and component-based. Identifying, developing, and managing a high-performing global supply network for one or more categories leveraging Procurement Classification Codes (PCC). Degree Requirement Degree or equivalent experience desired Preferred but Not Required Prior Procurement experience in Castings, Fabrications, and/or Non-Metallics categories Prior Procurement experience in Drivetrain components What You Will Do: Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Category Management: Knowledge of category management within an organization's goods and services sector; ability to use this knowledge to analyze and improve the end-to-end procurement process and maximize business profitability.
