Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the role of DeepStrike Director . This role reports directly to the Vice President of Precision Fires & Maneuver, and is responsible for leading all aspects of execution, capture, and growth for the DeepStrike portfolio. The portfolio encompasses a range of advanced weapon systems, strike capabilities, and multi‑domain launch solutions. Collectively, these programs span R&D, advanced development, Engineering Manufacturing Development, prototyping, and production, requiring integration of diverse technologies, suppliers, and customer communities. You will lead a team of professionals and interface closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Requirements & Capabilities, Contracts, Finance, and cross‑functional product teams. The role is complex, with responsibilities spanning multiple contract types, domestic and international pursuits, offset execution, supplier integration, and capture of new market segments. You will lead the development of capability roadmaps aligned with evolving U.S. and international requirements, ensuring synchronization with related missile, launcher, and advanced technology investment strategies. You will serve as the primary lead for tactical and strategic new business pursuits and coordinate extensively across the enterprise to secure growth opportunities.
What You Will Do
Full profit and loss responsibility and growth for the Fires and Effects portfolio, including contractual, financial, technical, and schedule performance Drive execution while meeting long‑term strategic objectives across development, integration, production, and advanced technology programs Develop, inform, and achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long‑Range Plan (LRP) goals and objectives Lead multidisciplinary teams, strategy development, internal and external program reviews, and program planning through direct customer engagement, proposal development, supplier management, status reporting, and generation of program statements of work, specifications, and authorizations Serve as the primary interface with multiple customers including U.S. Army stakeholders, international partners, and congressional staff to influence program priorities, execution decisions, and funding strategies Collaborate with financial planning to ensure master phasing and integrated master schedules meet program strategies, objectives, and milestones Lead capture, startup, and execution activities for follow‑on development, emerging technology programs, autonomous launcher pursuits, and
