Ivy Tech Madison is seeking student interns to support local nonprofit organizations through hands-on service and community engagement. These 8-week positions begin January 12, 2026. Apply today! General Purpose and Scope of Position: The IvyRoots (Real-World Opportunities & On-the-Job Training for Students) Internship connects Ivy Tech students with local non-profit organizations to create meaningful change in our community. Through this paid experience, students contribute to projects that strengthen local services while developing professional and leadership skills.

Major Responsibilities

Interns will work up to 10 hours per week (maximum of 80 hours total) at their assigned site, supporting real-world initiatives that help our region grow and thrive. This opportunity is ideal for students who are dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in representing Ivy Tech through their professionalism, initiative, and community-minded spirit. A few general responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Assist with daily operations Support program activities Maintain records and data Collaborate with staff and volunteers Minimum Qualifications: Must be a current Ivy Tech student Must be available to work up to 10 hours per week at the designated non-profit site Reliability, initiative, and strong communication skills are essential Pay Information: $15 per hour (up to 80 hours total) Ivy Tech is committed to supporting the well-being, growth, and financial security of our part-time employees.
