Join our Team About this opportunity We are looking for NOC Cloud Team lead who will have a unique blend of technical depth and leadership, where you will work on advanced private cloud infrastructures — spanning OpenStack administration, Linux systems management, and automation-driven efficiencies — while also guiding a high-performing team to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions. Beyond technical delivery, you will be expected to build strong customer relationships and uphold operational excellence, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who leads with both expertise and accountability.
What you will do
Carry out OpenStack cloud administration, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, resource optimisation, availability zone configuration, tenant management, and host aggregation. Install, configure, monitor, and optimise Linux systems, both physical and virtual, including kernel tuning, LVM management, and the implementation of advanced security measures. Manage and maintain RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS operating systems, ensuring smooth upgrade processes. Configure and troubleshoot networking protocols and services, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLAN, VXLAN, routing, DNS, DHCP, bridging, and IP Tables. Operate hardware management interfaces such as iLO, iDRAC, and CIMC efficiently. Perform CEPH storage management activities, including OSD operations and cluster flag adjustments. Leverage automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform for provisioning and configuration management. Develop automation scripts using Bash and Python to improve operational efficiency and service quality. Deploy and manage containerised applications using Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes. Ensure compliance with SLAs, ITSM guidelines, operational processes, and industry best practices. Work closely with stakeholders to deliver tailored cloud solutions and maintain strong client relationships. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to team members. Drive continuous improvement across cloud operations, automation, service reliability, and customer delivery. You will bring At least 9 years of professional experience in private cloud technologies, particularly OpenStack and Linux administration. Experience in a combined technical and team leadership role. Red Hat OpenStack certification, along with RHCSA and RHCE certifications. Strong Linux administration expertise, including operating system optimisation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in automation scripting using Bash and Python. Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform. Working knowledge of SDN, NFV concepts, and microservices or container orchestration platforms. Advanced networking knowledge, including network configuration, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and fault resolution. Experience managing hardware interfaces across enterprise systems, including iLO, iDRAC, and CIMC. Operational expertise in CEPH storage management. Strong understanding of OpenStack components, architecture, resource management, and troubleshooting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong customer engagement. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
