In this role, you will: Monitor and assign loads, operators, and equipment to align with daily operational priorities. Serve as the primary point of contact for execution escalations, actively messaging customers, monitoring alerts, and driving resolution. Act as a core support outlet for field operations, managing emergency situations with composure and swift judgment. Identify operational bottlenecks, enforce global process standards, and execute efficiency initiatives to hit qualitative and quantitative goals. Cultivate and enforce a strict "safety-first" operational environment across all mission activities. Adapt quickly to real-time daily operational shifts, delivering clear, consistent updates to peers and leadership.
Required Qualifications
Proven ability to make confident command decisions under pressure, prioritize competing operational needs, and maintain composure during high-stress field escalations. Uncompromising commitment to a "safety-first" culture, with strong critical-thinking skills applied to real-time risk assessments, hazard identification, and protocol enforcement. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex, fluid field data into concise instructions for operators, engineers, and leadership. Excellent record-keeping habits paired with the flexibility to quickly adjust priorities, re-route assets, and navigate dynamic operational changes without losing accuracy. Proactive problem-solver who thrives in multidisciplinary, fast-paced team environments and actively seeks to learn and adopt new technical tools. Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including mandatory weekends and non-standard operational shifts. High School Diploma or GED required with equivalent practical experience Desired Qualifications 2+ years of dispatch, fleet coordination, or logistics experience within trucking, tech, robotics, automotive, or high-tempo operations fields (direct autonomous vehicle experience is a plus, but not required). Demonstrated history of informal or formal team leadership, with proven skills in de-escalating team or customer friction, coaching peers, and fostering team cohesion. Hands-on experience operating Computer-Aided Dispatch software, GPS fleet tracking platforms, multi-monitor setups, and dynamic task management systems. Passion for continuous improvement, demonstrated by actively mentoring junior colleagues, refining standard operating procedures, and optimizing workflows. High adaptability to work variable shifts—including day, night, overnight, or weekend coverage—sometimes on short notice to support mission goals. BA/BS degree in Logistics, Operations, Aviation, or a business-related field preferred. The base hourly wage range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00 per hour.
