This role involves assisting with quality investigations, data collection, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Job Responsibilities** * Perform dimensional and functional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using various measurement tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM). * Conduct routine testing and analysis of products and processes according to established procedures and specifications. * Document inspection and test results accurately and completely, maintaining detailed records. * Assist Quality Engineers in the investigation of quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints. * Collect and compile quality data for analysis, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement. * Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control plans and procedures. * Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Calibrate and maintain inspection and test equipment, ensuring accuracy and proper functioning. * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related problems. * Assist in the training of production personnel on quality standards and inspection techniques. * Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies. Job Qualifications** * Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering Technology) or equivalent experience. * 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or quality assurance role. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. * Demonstrated experience with various measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators). * Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools (e.g., Pareto charts, histograms). * Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.     BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
