Job Description
This is a hybrid role. As Senior AML Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring our customers. You will conduct detailed investigations to detect suspicious financial transactions and potential money laundering risks. Additionally, you will review customers and incidents where risk triggers are identified or internal thresholds are met. Reporting to our Brazil MLRO You will be part of the International AML team. This team conducts investigations to ensure two things: that the customer can legitimately support their levels of play, and that there are no clear indicators to suggest they are potentially using the proceeds of crime. After the investigations are finalized, you will submit Suspicious Activity/Transaction Reports (SARs) internally, so that our MLRO for Brazil can send the appropriate report to COAF. Salary range for this role, based on experience level, is 78600 - 117800 BRL per annum. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in São Paulo! You Will: Analyse customer and transaction data to identify patterns and trends that may indicate money laundering Identify unusual or suspicious financial activity using transaction monitoring and data analysis systems; Conduct detailed investigations into suspicious customers and transactions, including reviewing documents and data; Critically review source of funds/wealth background checks and documentary evidence from reports to validate suspicions of money laundering or terrorist financing (ML/TF) Conduct further internal systems checks or open-source investigations Prepare suspicious activity reports (SARs) for the MLRO to forward to appropriate authorities Work in collaboration with other departments, such as the KYC Dept, AML Policies, Compliance and Regulatory teams Qualifications Previous experience in the gaming industry or an AML/Risk role within other sectors; Experience with the gaming industry, regulatory requirements and risks relating to sports betting and online gaming companies is desirable Knowledge of Law 14.790/23, from Ministry of Finance and all Ordinances issue by SPA/MF relating to betting markets, is desirable Experience with AML Processes and Investigations of 4+ years Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration or a related field The job requires fluency in both spoken and written English language; AML Certification such us CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) is advantageous, but not essential Additional Information Benefits At Entain, we know that signing top players requires a great starting package, and plenty of support to inspire you.
