Position
Purpose: The Analyst, Online Merchandising Solutions will drive the process improvement and supplier engagement associated with the rapid assortment expansion of HD.com and subsequent required item troubleshooting. The analyst will be responsible for keeping team projects on-task and within expectations of project timelines, working with Online Merchandising Solutions Manager(s) & leadership to prioritize projects and own deliverables of the team. The role will require the development of the day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners (i.e., Direct Fulfillment Merchants, HD.com business partners, suppliers, etc. to support data initiatives online). Responsibilities include monitoring and verifying the successful transformation of enterprise data and working with appropriate technology teams to resolve issues relating to incorrect mapping, business rules, and data deviations. This role is the primary point of contact responsible for a simple and seamless supplier experience in working with Home Depot.com, respective to all aspects of supplier and priority item onboarding. This role manages supplier and item onboarding execution, Ambassador onboarding support for Premium accounts, troubleshooting/error resolution and analysis on new supplier opportunities. This role will be responsible for delivering top-tier customer service to all Home Depot Suppliers as well as internal partners and will be held accountable to exceptional customer service ratings.
Key Responsibilities
40% Business Acumen: Serves as a subject matter expert and performs research and/or root cause analysis to identify and resolve IDM support related issues and themes. Research and address management escalations completely and timely. Ensure the Level 1 support team is responding to supplier issues received via the supplier hotline, chats, and tickets timely, completely, correctly, and professionally. Identify and address training gaps. 30% Project Support: Plan and lead all phases of a project's lifecycle; this includes the proactive identification of business process optimization opportunities, prioritization, definition, and implementation of project deliverables. Keeps projects on-task and within expectations of project timelines. Ensures deliverables and goals for area of responsibility are met or exceeded. 20% Process Improvement: Provide new or refresher training as needed to offshore and onshore users. Educate internal Home Depot users on how the data flows and should be used/updated. Primary contact for internal The Home Depot teams concerning data issues impacting consuming systems. Measures ongoing effectiveness of programs against organizational metric targets. Develops and executes ongoing enhancement/optimization based on measured performance and customer feedback. 10% Training/On-Going Support: Authors and facilitates clear, concise end user training on IDM processes, system features, and enhancements. Develops and maintains day-to-day relationships with internal and external partners to support IDM initiatives. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This position reports to the Manager. This position has up to 5 direct reports.
Travel Requirements
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
