Role
Definition We are seeking a Facility Procurement Manager to lead procurement functions for Caterpillar Defense. This role will support U.S. and UK based Cat Defense products and teams and interacts closely with members of the broader Procurement organization.
What You Will Do
Leading the execution of delivering a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points. Managing a global team that is responsible for operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations. Ensuring the supplier network is capable of meeting the business unit’s specific Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM) requirements. Collaborating with business partners and suppliers and resolving facility specific supplier issues.
