Standard Job Description 
 You will be a Manufacturing Engineer on Third Shift for our PAC-3 program. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for developing tooling and equipment designs, supporting the production floor, and driving process improvements. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:• Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item. • Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works. • Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues. • Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start. Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Basic Qualifications 
 • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required. • Knowledge of hand tools and machine tools and the ability to teach others how to use them. • Ability to work Third Shift   Desired Skills
