Software Engineer III, Infrastructure

Define, design and implement key components, built from the ground-up, for the next-gen of Filestore, focusing on performance, reliability, efficiency and resilience. Grow the team by joining a well-experienced group and impacting the critical architecture and design decisions. Collaborate with peers across the product development life-cycle, including filesystem engineering teams, product management, program management, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI). Partner with product and customers to best fit future requirements. Develop software primarily in C++.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. Software development experience in C++ or other general purpose programming languages. Filesystems and storage system knowledge. Knowledge in clustered and concurrent programming.
