éShop Creative Studios is seeking an experienced Creative Manager to lead end-to-end creative production at our Tokyo studio. In this role, you will manage a team of Art Directors, Videographers, and creative professionals—overseeing multiple concurrent projects from concept through delivery across video, photography, motion content, and generative AI workflows. You will be responsible for both creative excellence and operational efficiency, ensuring all output meets Amazon's quality standards while managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholder expectations. As a people manager, you will drive team development through performance reviews, career coaching, and hiring decisions while fostering a collaborative culture that inspires creative innovation. The role requires someone who can balance strategic creative vision with hands-on production management, coordinate across diverse teams and disciplines, and communicate effectively with senior leadership. You will work closely with Producers, Digitechs, Stylists, Editors, and Content Creators to ensure seamless production workflows. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing creative teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments and understands how to scale creative quality for the Japan marketplace. Key job responsibilities • Manage end-to-end creative production including multiple concurrent campaigns across video, photography, motion content, and generative AI • Directly manage and develop a team of Art Directors, Videographers, and creative professionals—owning performance reviews, career coaching, and hiring • Define creative needs, provide creative expertise, and set quality standards for all content outputs aligned with brand guidelines • Drive timely decisions, clear production blockers, and escalate risks appropriately to ensure on-time delivery of all projects • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams while optimizing for efficiency and quality • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including Producers, Digitechs, Stylists, Editors, and content creators on schedules and deliverables • Ensure all creative output meets Amazon's quality and brand compliance standards through structured review and approval processes • Manage relationships with external vendors, production partners, and freelance talent to extend studio capacity as needed • Optimize creative workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements that increase team productivity and output quality • Recommend production approaches and creative solutions tailored to Japan market preferences, cultural nuances, and consumer expectations • Own people management responsibilities including goal-setting, development plans, regular feedback cycles, and team culture building • Present project updates, creative strategies, and team performance to senior leadership with clear data and narrative About the team eShop Studio Japan is part of a global creative network with five hub studios in Barcelona, New York, London, New Delhi, and Tokyo—producing photography, videography, and emerging-format content at scale for millions of Amazon customers.
