Your role at Sephora: As a Senior Engineering Systems Manager, DC Planning and Engineering you will be responsible for providing network support to Sephora Logistics with regards to system and software execution across the Sephora Logistics Network. This role will be responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing the roadmap for Logistic systems to include WMS, WES, robotics software and reporting software tools. This role will also own System Administration and KPI reporting across the Logistics network. In addition, you will: Assume project management responsibilities for all network Logistics systems and software installs Optimize current software processes within the distribution-order fulfillment centers through the development and implementation of improved enhancements and system updates. Develop solutions to operational issues and provide recommendations to improve operations with software enhancements. Develop cost benefit analyses and financial models to support the DC’s requirements, designs, and alternative selections to existing systems. Act as a primary Logistics contact with IT to ensure Sprint roll-outs are documented (SOP’s), demonstrated, and implemented. Hold network continuous improvement meetings with DC operations and IT to ensure network alignment on process and system knowledge. Develop and maintain labor standards and the productivity monitoring for all the DC’s. Ensure KPI reporting is maintained on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for publishing to the Logistics network Assist with capital improvement projects, including automation and robotics software and execution systems, and personnel needed to complete various projects. Analyze current operating plan to determine opportunities for improving the operations process and workflow Work with operations management team to implement changes in the operations to reach desired cost reduction and service improvements. Conduct operations forecasting for staffing, assets, and facility need to ensure ability to meet service commitment. Maintain self-development, communications, and reporting. Identify issues that require training or re-training to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Provide training to management for implementation of new procedures, processes, services, and technology to maintain operational effectiveness. Coordinate with process writers to create training documents. Possess strong written and verbal communications skills Travel to other Distribution Centers to support initiatives (estimated 25%) Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative We’re excited about you if you have: 12+ years of related industrial engineering experience with key focus on systems and software, completing multi-variable work measurements and developing labor standards, process improvement, and network optimization projects within a distribution environment. Previous experience with implementing software systems in a Logistics environment, emphasis on warehouse management, warehouse execution, and labor and reporting tools Experience with top tier WMS/WES/WCS Systems Experience with JDA/Blue Yonder, Manhattan or equivalent Warehouse Management Systems A working knowledge of DC operational practices and
