The F-135 Customer Logistics Specialist will process shipments to military sites and depots to support requirements of the F-35’s (Joint Strike Fighter) F135 Propulsion System within an extremely fast-moving global network. This is a multi-service, multi-national fighter engine program, with good growth potential. Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Do
Analyze spares redistribution decision support data, then directly engage in the redistribution of spare materials to support fleet global availability goals. FLS will be assigned as Face-to-Base (F2B) for a minimum of (3) F-35/F135 sites Proactively monitor spare forecasts & usage at the operational sites and Multi-Use Warehouses (MUWs) and coordinate appropriate spares redistribution actions to satisfy forecasted demand. Support and action the movement of spares for site activations when assigned Qualifications You Must Have BS/BA degree 5 years of inventory management, supply chain, or engine maintenance experience or An advanced degree with 3 years of inventory management, supply chain, or engine maintenance experience or "in lieu of degree" with 9 years of experience Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship Qualifications We Prefer A minimum of 3+ years of aerospace/defense supply support experience; In-depth knowledge of PW/Raytheon Technologies internal supply policies, practices, and standard work is highly desired Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and EXCEL (formulas VLOOKUP, etc.) is highly desired. Analytical skills are a must for an FLS; individual must be able to organize, logically analyze and present spares information that may be pulled in from several info systems.
