If you’re a TIG Welder 1 , we have an exciting opportunity for you.  The role involves performing TIG welding; maintaining equipment; reading blueprints; inspecting work for quality and safety compliance; and following established procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong equipment operation, problem-solving, communication, time management, teamwork, computer, and blueprint-reading skills, while supporting lean practices, standardized work, continuous improvement, and Woodward’s Core Values.

What You Will Be Doing

Perform Welding Operations: Executes welding tasks using standardized techniques and equipment in accordance with established procedures. Maintain Equipment: Conducts regular inspections and routine maintenance of welding tools and machinery to ensure optimal functionality. Read and Interpret Blueprints: Utilizes technical drawings and specifications to accurately guide welding processes and ensure precise outcomes. Quality Standards: Inspects welded components to verify compliance with quality and safety standards, addressing any discrepancies. Safety Compliance: Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and regulations in welding environments.

What We Are Looking For

Welding Techniques: Proficient in various welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves common welding issues using established procedures. Equipment Operation: Skilled in operating welding equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
