About this role

Intuit's Fintech Risk organization protects customers and the business while enabling growth — and a critical part of that mission runs on our third-party risk vendors (credit worthiness, identity verification, fraud detection, underwriting, and related capabilities). We are looking for a Vendor Relationship Manager to own the relationship, performance, and commercial lifecycle of these vendors on behalf of Risk. This is a vendor-facing role. You are the primary point of contact for our risk vendors — running regular business reviews, driving contract renewals and renegotiations, and staying close enough to the business to catch when a use case is changing and translate that into a likely cost or risk impact. You partner tightly with the Risk OpEx/finance lead — who owns PO accruals, invoices, budgeting, and variance — feeding them the forward signal they need. If you like building trusted vendor partnerships and turning them into better performance, terms, and value for Intuit, this is the role.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the vendor relationship: serve as the primary point of contact for Risk's third-party vendors, building trusted partnerships and acting as the connective tissue between vendors and Risk business owners. Set the operating rhythm and QBR governance: lead a consistent review cadence with each vendor — performance against SLAs, roadmap, issues, and value delivered — and drive follow-through on actions. Lead contract renewals and renegotiations and own commercial outcomes: lead renewal planning and renegotiation prep, partnering with Sourcing/3PRM and business owners on terms, pricing, and savings. Stay ahead of use-case and cost changes: keep close to how each vendor is used across Risk Policy/Ops, spot when a use case is shifting, and translate that into impact on cost and related recommendations. Monitor vendor performance and value: track SLAs, service quality, and ROI; maintain vendor scorecards; and surface duplicated or underperforming services for consolidation or exit. Coordinate PoCs: manage the vendor relationship through proof-of-concept — scope, success criteria, and go/no-go. Own vendor risk touchpoints: track vendor incidents and outages, and coordinate ongoing monitoring and quarterly attestations with 3PRM. Partner with Risk OpEx/finance: provide the forward-looking vendor signal (usage, renewals, use-case changes) that feeds PO accruals, invoicing, budgeting, and variance analysis. Support the vendor engagement framework: define and scale repeatable frameworks and help evolve Risk's standardized approach to vendor management — roles, cadences, timelines, and communications.

Qualifications

5+ years in vendor/supplier relationship management, category management, partnerships, or a related field — ideally supporting risk, fraud, payments, or financial services. Proven track record building, negotiating, and owning third-party relationships and running structured business reviews (MBRs/QBRs). Experience leading contract renewals and renegotiations, partnering with sourcing/procurement on terms and savings. Commercial and business acumen — able to connect a changing vendor use case to its likely cost and risk impact, and communicate that clearly. Strong cross-functional collaborator — influences and drives alignment across teams independently / with limited guidance to drive clear ownership. Familiarity with procurement and third-party risk concepts (POs, SoWs, PoCs, due diligence, monitoring, attestations). Builds durable scalable processes with strong communication skills; comfortable with spreadsheets/data (Excel/Google Sheets), with an AI-first mindset toward reducing manual work. Solves ambiguous business problems and shapes process without a playbook. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, a related field, or commensurate experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, PMP, CTPRP) a plus. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a
