Director, Financial Planning

Purpose: Lead and direct the long-range budget & financial planning process, develop financial and strategic analysis, support executive leadership as required, special projects assigned. Direct and maintain overall responsibility of the long-range 5 year planning model including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. Create succinct financial analysis and reports in order to communicate relevant financial information to management for effective decision making. Create templates and methodologies for managing budget data; optimize the use of systems to balance efficiency and end user experience Drive effective reporting and analysis requirements for long-range plans. Create methodology to transition long-range plan into annual budget process. Participate as financial representative on special projects. Knowledge/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent relevant experience. 7+ years of financial planning/analysis experience. MBA, CPA, Public accounting or health care industry preferred. Strong budgeting, analysis, reporting and management experience required. Excel and Hyperion Planning software expertise preferred. Pay Range: $148,000.00 - $274,200.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law , including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
