What you’ll build: As an Associate Platform Engineer, you will contribute to platform development and operations with guidance and mentorship. Your responsibilities include:
Build and automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management for Big Data platform components Implement cloud‑agnostic platform features across hyperscalers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and SAP Cloud infrastructure) Support enhancements to Kubernetes‑based runtimes, including optimization and basic automation Leverage AI capabilities in your daily work. Contribute to platform reliability by learning and applying foundational site reliability engineering practices (SRE) concepts (monitoring, alerting, incident handling) Participate in team on‑call duties outside working hours after sufficient onboarding and training

Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (internships, personal projects, open‑source work) 0–2 years of professional experience in software, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related areas Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts Practical experience with use of coding agents in planning, implementation, test generation, review, deployment and operations while retaining engineering accountability and measurable guardrails. Prior internships or hands‑on projects involving cloud services, automation, or distributed systems are a plus Introductory knowledge of containers (Docker), Linux, or distributed systems Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python or Go Interest in learning Kubernetes, cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, GCP), and automation tooling Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Collaborative attitude, willingness to ask questions, and openness to feedback Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal
