Description A DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting the CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for a strategic FX settlement platform for the Bank. A strong desire to learn the FX Trade Lifecycle, SWIFT messaging protocols (MT/MX), and CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement) processes. You will share your passion for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure-as-code. You will engage the full depth of your automation and systems engineering skills in a diverse, cross-functional team that partners with developers and technology experts globally to solve complex deployment and operational challenges. You will automate and support the build, deployment, and orchestration of a rich platform environment and maintain 15+ non-production environments (Dev, QA, UAT), ensuring they are aligned with production configurations. Help debug infrastructure-level and deployment-related issues in collaboration with development and QA teams. Ensure safe, predictable, and repeatable releases for FX matching, confirmation, and Swift messaging applications. Support the migration of legacy workloads to modern hybrid or public cloud environments (such as GCP). Maintain non-production environments (Dev, QA, UAT), ensuring they are aligned with production configurations. Help debug infrastructure-level and deployment-related issues in collaboration with development and QA teams. Apply BDD practices and unit testing to improve release quality and reduce production issues. Analyze production and UAT incidents, identify root causes, and improve platforms, monitoring, and automation to prevent recurrence. Provide L3 support for PROD and UAT issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders. Support application development teams with platform, product, and performance-related guidance. Integrate vulnerability scanning and compliance checks into the deployment pipelines, ensuring all banking security standards are strictly adhered to before code reaches production. Work with PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and complex database queries for operational and application support. Design, automate, and maintain highly secure, zero-downtime CI/CD deployment pipelines and robust message-queuing infrastructure to ensure continuous, real-time FX transaction processing and seamless, low-latency data synchronization across complex interface partner systems. Contribute to development and operational tasks within an Agile delivery model. Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with ownership of stability, automation, and continuous improvement. Mandatory skills and experience 1+ year experience with tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions/workflows. Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive operational tasks. Containerization: Experience with Docker and good understanding of Kubernetes or OpenShift
