Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor PPG | Clayton Plant Full Time | Permanent The Maintenance Supervisor is a key role within the PPG Manufacturing Team and is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of the site maintenance strategy. This role leads the maintenance trades and contractors as required. The Maintenance Supervisor drives improvement in the processes of planning, scheduling, technical investigation and work execution Key Responsibilities: Ensure continuous and reliable Maintenance support production teams Lead Maintenance trades and contractors in daily work execution Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements Drive reliability and efficiency improvements in utilities systems Coordinate maintenance activities with planner and scheduler Ensure safe systems of work and permit compliance Ensure there is no production downtime caused by utilities failure Full compliance and statutory inspection and regulatory requirements Attend safety meetings Provide support and guidance to the team where required Take accountability for the safe execution of maintenance work Prioritize resource allocation, work execution and CMMS work completion within area of responsibility Qualifications & Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team with Mechanical and Electrical trades Demonstrated experience working in FMCG or other manufacturing environments Strong Organisational and Leadership skills Proven experience in electrical safety and regulatory compliance within an industrial setting Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) Strong analytical and problem-solving capability in plant and equipment environments Experience working in Hazardous Area is preferable Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent Experience in reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) or asset management frameworks Interpretation of technical drawings and documentation About us:   PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD ®  Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
