Mechanical Engineer, PQ R&D Xi'an

 CPSD (Critical Power Solution Division) is searching for a Mechanical engineer with solid technical background and hands-on engineering experience.  Primary functions for this position include:  •    In charge of Mechanical design for new products (UPS), as a technical contributor. •    Provide professional mechanical solution for custom special requirement. •    Develop and validate advanced mechanical technologies for power products. A.    Understand project plans and deliver results on-schedule independently. B.    Propose system layout and mechanical design for UPS or related product. C.    Cooperate with electrical, thermal, layout, EMC and safety department to push forward the development of new UPS products. D.    Implement Mechanical design for UPS or related product, 2D / 3D designed, make the samples. E.    Provide the digital prototype for 3D SOP, animation, wires routing and assembled process. F.    Track the samples, guide prototype building, check the SOP. G.    Implement vibration and drop test for UPS or related product. H.    Material management and purchase, control material cost, material recognized, complete new product BOM I.    Innovation, evaluation of new technology and material, and apply patents on mechanical technology. J.    Implement VAVE item for related product and maintain the related product daily. K.    Deliver technical presentation in both English and Chinese. L.    Respond to other tasks at request from management. Qualifications: 
 •    Bachelor/Master’s degree in Mechanism Engineering or relative major, required. •    Minimum 2 years’ experience at least one of the following areas, required: o    Mechanical design for UPS or power supplier products •    Proficient utilization of tools o    AutoCAD/Creo, required o    Corel draw, preferred o    FAE (Ansys), preferred.  o    Six Sigma,  preferred •    Good English communication skills (oral and written) –CET 4 is required, CET 6 is preferred. •    Strong interpersonal and team playing skills – required •    Experienced at data center related product design,  preferred •    Experienced at package design, preferred Strong understanding of the thermal knowledge, Safety/EMC standard, preferred.
