JOB SUMMARY
Job Profile Summary ONEOK is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Pipeline Scheduler to join our fun, energetic Tulsa team. The position will be responsible for handling nominations, confirmations, and scheduling of natural gas volumes for intrastate and interstate pipeline transmission business. This position will manage volumetric imbalances with end-users, shippers, and pipelines daily in accordance with contractual and system compliance. An emphasis on fostering strong relationships and providing excellent customer service is desired. Quorum and QPTM experience are a plus. The ideal candidate should be willing to adapt to a flexible schedule incorporating evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. This role is hybrid: Office - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Remote - Friday Essential Functions and Responsibilities · Initiate, schedule, review, and monitor daily nominations to maintain pipeline integrity by minimizing Operational Balance Agreement (OBA) and shipper or customer imbalances · Coordinate with traders regarding overall daily scheduling and balancing positions on interstate and intrastate pipelines; report any problems to traders regarding flow of product(s) · Interact with gas control representatives, customers, operators, producers, pipeline companies and others concerning nominations, allocations, billing, imbalances, daily flow and operational orders · Calculate, prepare, and analyze information or reports including, but not limited to: o Allocations o Balancing deliveries o Nominations and confirmations o Pricing o Flow rates/capacity issues o Measurement discrepancies o Storage balances o Electronic bulletin board communications o Actual Usage – Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) Education · Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business administration, or accounting with job related experience or equivalent formal education to include a combination of courses such as accounting, business law, business communications, algebra, basic statistics, or speech and the following job related knowledge or experience Work Experience · Experience and thorough knowledge of nomination and scheduling of energy product(s) volumes on a pipeline system · Experience analyzing and resolving issues and/or questions concerning scheduling, nominations, balancing, and allocations · Experience in use and function of office equipment including mainframe applications and microcomputers and applicable software · Experience and/or training related to: o Product purchase o Product control o Product accounting o Transportation services o Volume control o Customer service o Pipeline Tariffs o Product Distribution (as specified by position) · · Experience reading and interpreting applicable contracts, agreements, reports, statements, invoices, confirmations, correspondence, tariffs, government regulations, industry standards, electronic bulletin board communications, and company policies and procedures · Experience composing and preparing balancing reports, volume summaries, confirmations, reports, pipeline postings, storage reports, and electronic bulletin board
