Job Description & Summary The opportunity Help clients define and mobilize secure, governed and economically sound Azure transformation programs, connecting platform choices to operating-model and business outcomes.
What you will be doing
Cloud advisory Lead cloud maturity, estate, migration-readiness and platform-governance assessments. Develop cloud strategies, migration and modernization roadmaps, landing-zone requirements and investment priorities. Facilitate decision-making across public cloud, hybrid cloud, application modernization and platform services. Identify risks, dependencies and organizational changes required for successful adoption. Operating model, governance & economics Design cloud operating models covering organization, decision rights, service management, platform engineering, DevSecOps and vendor governance. Define governance guardrails for identity, security, policy, resilience, compliance, data protection and cost management. Shape FinOps capabilities, cost transparency, consumption governance and optimization opportunities. Work with the Business Value Lead on TCO, investment cases and benefits tracking. Engagement delivery & growth Lead advisory workstreams, manage plans, risks, dependencies and client stakeholders. Support the Cloud Architect in solution shaping, architecture workshops, proposals and technical assurance. Create reusable assessment tools, roadmaps, reference patterns and point-of-view materials. What we need from you 7+ years in cloud transformation, infrastructure, platform engineering, enterprise architecture or technology consulting. Strong Azure knowledge across landing zones, identity, networking, governance, security, resilience, migration, DevOps and automation. Experience with cloud operating models, FinOps, migration planning and transformation governance. Ability to communicate architecture and delivery choices to both executive and technical audiences. Strong consulting delivery, facilitation and workstream leadership skills.
Preferred qualifications
Azure Solutions Architect Expert is strongly preferred; AZ-104, AZ-500, DevOps or FinOps credentials are advantageous. Experience with Infrastructure as Code, policy-as-code and modern platform engineering is desirable. Professional-services and multi-industry experience are preferred.
