Full Time: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift, 6:30am – 3:00pm with occasional on-call & off-shift hours Location: Plant 1 – 3900 N. The Maintenance Technician works closely with the operations team, technical personnel, and the area supervisors to meet or exceed goals for Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

Job Function • Follows all safety regulations and basic rules and regulations per company policy • Maintain and repair production equipment, administer preventative maintenance programs and procedures • Inspect equipment to detect defects or malfunctions • Support the installation of new equipment and participate in equipment training • Is Competent using maintenance technician skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties • Conducts general building maintenance and coordinates activities with building contractors • Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas • Able to perform essential job functions outside of normal working hours as needed Required Skills • Valid Driver’s License - required. • Must be able to meet or exceed Level 4 (Heavy Work) of a Personal Capacity Profile. • 2 years minimum of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities - required. • Associates degree or Certification within Industrial Manufacturing, Maintenance or Electronics is preferred • Working knowledge of mechanical systems such as pneumatics, hydraulics, plant equipment, air compressors, HVAC, etc. • Working knowledge of electrical systems such as PLCs, drives, servos, motors, plant electrical, control panels • Basic fabrication skills. · Knowledge of electrical circuits and operating principles of motors.
