The Software Engineer is responsible for being the developer, manual & automation tester in your local team, bring your technical experience to verify the product. This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is part of the Clinical Chemistry and Immuno Assay Team, Instrument R&D Team located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Test Planning & Strategy: Analyze product requirements and define test strategies, verification approaches, acceptance criteria, and project test plans. Test Development & Execution: Design, develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases, including automation of existing manual tests. Defect Investigation & Quality Assurance: Perform defect analysis, root cause investigation, prepare test documentation, and ensure high-quality software verification. Process & Tool Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of test techniques, automation frameworks, testing environments, laboratory management, and verification processes. Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global teams of CCIA. The essential requirements of the job include Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline; experience in regulated medical device environments and Clinical Chemistry is preferred. 0-2 years of technical experience in multi-disciplined projects and some years of experience in Agile software development with a exposure to C# .NET and main principles of .NET Framework/.NET Core, Test frameworks, Manual testing experience on medical Instruments. Good knowledge in automated testing, building and extending automation frameworks and continuous integration principles, state-of-the art design patterns and some experience in GUI development and related technologies. Is a fast learner able to quickly become adept at using the Danaher Business System tool set, is able and open to learn new technologies as needed. Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with the ability to drive technical initiatives, facilitate discussions, improve processes, and deliver high-quality results independently.
