Security Specialist The Opportunity: As a Security Specialist supporting our Army customer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding intelligence activities and enabling Army operations across the Pacific. You’ll apply your security expertise to enhance regional readiness, strengthen operational effectiveness, and advance national security priorities. As part of our customer’s Special Security Office team, you will deliver comprehensive security, administrative, and operational support to ensure the protection, accountability, and compliance of sensitive facilities and programs across the command. Working closely with military, government civilian, and industry counterparts, you will leverage your knowledge of personnel, physical, and information security to inform decisions, optimize processes, and maintain adherence to DoD, Army, and Intelligence Community directives. You will process and validate personnel security clearances, maintain security records, manage visitor access, and serve as a key point of contact for individuals requiring guidance on security procedures. You will contribute to audit readiness, support ongoing security initiatives, and help sustain a strong and resilient security posture for one of the Army’s most strategically important commands. You Have: 3+ years of experience managing security requirements within DoD collateral, SCI, or SAP environments Experience with DoD security systems or databases such as DISS or ACCS Experience in Personnel Security, Information Security, Industrial Security, or Physical Security Experience providing guidance on classification, handling, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified materials Knowledge of clearance processes and requirements along with Security Awareness, Training, and Education (SATE) methods Knowledge of SCIF operations, access control procedures, security management practices, and inspection requirements TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment, Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in a professional work environment Nice If You Have: Experience providing constructive, tactful, and discreet security guidance at all organizational level Knowledge of Army Regulations, DoD Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related security policies Ability to apply strong attention to detail and manage multiple, shifting priorities Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with teams, stakeholders, and government clients Security-related certifications provided via the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
