 Job Description Responsibilities: Responsible for packaging materials in accordance with standard manufacturing procedures (SMP) and standard operating procedures (SOP) including equipment set-up, equipment clean-up and documentation of such process Filling, assembling, labeling and inspecting under general supervision May be responsible for maintaining accuracy in weighing materials per the correct SMP and SOP weight tolerances Must be a good communicator within the manufacturing team to effectively define status of product or process between shifts either orally or with the use of written status reports May be responsible for moving required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment Demonstrates ability to set-up, operate and clean production equipment including weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, Integrated Fill Lines (IFL), bagging equipment and shrink-wrap equipment Maintains accurate production records, which include operation/cleaning logs, batch history records, label reconciliation, work order information and other pertinent data Identifies the need for minor equipment repairs Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures Must be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements Performs other duties as required Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or GED At BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem-solving, which are essential in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
