Job Title: Master-Licensed Plumber Department: Production & Skilled Trades Country: United States of America State/Province: Massachusetts City: Walpole Full/Part Time: Full time Job Summary: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing plumbing installations for multiple systems including but not limited to dishwashers, gas dryers, gas ovens and ranges, etc. based on state requirements. Incumbent must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities: • Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water and drainage systems • Direct and train employees to perform plumbing duties as appropriate • Manage inventory of specific plumbing parts and tools • Adhere to quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy of installations • Initiate, coordinate and enforce installation practices, policies, and procedures • Conduct observations on the installation teams to ensure compliance and safety • Communicate job expectations with installation teams to ensure successful delivery and installation • Communicate regularly with Job Site Management to build effective and professional relationships • Preview job sites to ensure they’re safe and ready for delivery based on the Builders schedule; communicate findings with the office staff and external customers • Load, unload, install and test household appliances using necessary hand tools and power tools based on job specifications, manufacturer's installation instructions, and local codes • Detect, analyze and resolve plumbing problems, such as pipeline leaks, using various technologies, tools and equipment Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
21 years of age with Master Plumber license Non-commercial drivers license Must possess a valid medical certification Must possess a motor vehicle record that meets J.B. Hunt standards Must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed Preferred Qualifications: Experience with appliance installations Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 100 pounds) Ability to wear appropriate work attire (bump cap, footwear, gloves) Effective Communication Skills (written and verbal) Experience in customer service Knowledge of local plumbing codes Proficient with hand tools and power tools Willingness to travel Willingness to work flexible workdays and hours THE EXPECTED STARTING PAY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS BETWEEN $33.95-$42.50/hourly. VALID LICENSES IN ALL OF NEW ENGLAND: MA, ME, NH, RI, VT. This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
Compensation
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
