We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Mechanical Ground Support Equipment team in the development and refresh of mechanical support equipment for the FBM program. In this dynamic role you will: Conduct systems engineering tasking associated with the development of mechanical ground support equipment requirements, design and testing. Provide technical expertise supporting a team of systems engineers, including project leadership and planning. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, facilities, and program management, to ensure successful project execution. Identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing process improvements and standardization to drive efficiency and affordability. The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Basic Qualifications Experienced in developing Systems Engineering requirements documentation within Jira, or Cameo or DOORS. Expereince developing CONOPS, Requirements Matrices (RVTM), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Experienced working with test teams for requirements development and verifications. Mechanical Engineering experience and knowledge of engineering drawings and tools. Desired Skills Fleet Balistic Missile (FBM) experience. Experience with Windchill and/or EPDM product data management toolset Direct experience in applying systems engineering practices to mechanical ground support equipment and facilities/Class 3 equipment Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices (Cameo preferred) Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, peers, senior management, program office, and customers Demonstrated ability to lead change and
