Facilities Professional The Opportunity: As a facilities professional, you understand that rigorous engineering review, technical coordination, and attention to detail are essential to supporting installation utilities and mission‑critical infrastructure. That’s why we need an experience d facilities professional like you who can apply engineering judgment, analytical skills, and multidiscipline understanding to support utilities engineering efforts for the Marine Corps. On our team, you’ll help manage and support engineering review activities focused on utilities systems such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing ( MEP ) , performance, design inputs, and field conditions. Specifically, you’ll assist with engineering assessments, evaluate utilities system data for completeness and compliance, and contribute to documentation that informs utilities planning, design development, and project execution. You’ll help ensure engineering inputs align with installation requirements, applicable standards, and long‑term infrastructure needs. In this role, you’ll closely impact Marine Corps installation management by reviewing technical materials, analyzing utilities field conditions, developing engineering inputs, and coordinating with Public Works, engineering teams, and master planners. By contributing to multidiscipline engineering documentation and helping validate utilities requirements, you’ll support informed decision‑making and improved engineering outcomes across the installation. You Have: Experience assisting with technical reviews, engineering documentation, or utilities system evaluation Experience preparing or contributing to engineering assessments, review inputs, or technical summaries Knowledge of facility engineering principles, utilities systems, or infrastructure planning practices Ability to interpret engineering inputs, field conditions, and regulatory requirements and synthesize them into structured engineering assessments Ability to coordinate with installation‑level stakeholders to support documentation, design reviews, or utilities engineering validation activities Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience supporting facilities engineering, utility system assessments, facility lifecycle management, or infrastructure analysis, or Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience supporting facilities engineering, utility system assessments, facility lifecycle management, or infrastructure analysis Nice If You Have: Experience supporting Marine Corps commands, Navy commands, or other DoD installation engineering organizations Experience supporting FSRM, MILCON, or UMMC utilities engineering or project planning documentation Experience contributing to utilities engineering review packages or RFP inputs Knowledge of UFC criteria, utilities engineering standards, or facility design review workflows Ability to use AutoCAD, GIS, or engineering‑focused facility or asset management tools Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred ; Master’s degree in Engineering or Architecture a plus Professional Engineer ( PE ) or Registered Architect ( RA ) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
