Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented leader to serve as the Lead to manage Accounting Process Optimization within the Accounting & Tax organization. This role is critical to advancing the transformation of accounting processes through standardization, automation, and data-driven insights, enabling a more efficient, scalable, and controlled operating environment. Aligned with the POET (Process Optimization through the Enablement of Technology) strategy, this individual will partner with Accounting, Tax, Finance, and Technology to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and deliver innovative solutions that modernize financial operations. The Manager will lead the design and implementation of optimized end-to-end accounting processes—leveraging automation, analytics, and emerging technologies—to reduce manual effort, enhance accuracy, and strengthen internal controls. This includes driving efficiencies across key areas such as financial close, reconciliations, analytics and reporting while maintaining compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong blend of accounting or finance expertise, process improvement capability, and change leadership. Success in this position will be defined by the ability to influence in a matrixed environment, deliver measurable efficiency gains, and enable sustainable technology-driven process improvements aligned to Accounting and Tax priorities. Job Description & Responsibilities : The Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities : Identify, prioritize, and execute end-to-end accounting and tax process improvement opportunities, focusing on standardization, simplification, and scalability across the organization Build strong relationships through effective communication with matrix partners across and beyond Accounting, Tax and Finance Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Technology, and Data teams to drive alignment, manage dependencies, and ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives Engage with matrix partners within and outside of the Accounting and Tax organization to leverage process and technology capabilities within the Company Apply strong Accounting, Finance, and project management knowledge to guide initiatives with strategic insight and operational rigor. Develop and implement current and future process maps, workflows, and documentation for redesigned processes Analyze the business processes, data sources and reports to create an inventory of opportunities; execution of the opportunities will be based on value, investment, and ROI Apply continuous improvement methodologies to drive measurable outcomes Ensure data accuracy and integrity in data and reporting solutions Competencies / Skills: Excellent communication skills, including an ability to clearly articulate project clarity and precision in verbal and written communication Ability to effectively deal with multiple teams and navigate in a highly matrixed structure Strong business acumen including ability to effectively articulate business objectives Ability to identify process improvements and implement changes, based on feedback from business Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to tease out and probe into what is not being articulated Effective under pressure, dealing with ambiguity, strong analytical skills, highly focused, team player, resourceful Self‑starter with an enterprise mindset, eager to learn, contribute, and drive impact Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field Experience in Healthcare is a plus Experience within various Finance and Accounting functions (e.g. Financial Planning & Analytics, P&L and/or balance sheet reporting) Experience in various AI reporting and data analysis tools Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills Ability to work independently and as part
