And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.   Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.   Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the Terminal High‑Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. The RTE will act as the chief facilitator for the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring that the integrated product development lifecycle—spanning system architecture, hardware, software, and test—delivers high‑quality, mission‑critical capabilities on schedule and within budget.   Responsibilities include the following:  Agile Coordination Lead the ART ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Review, System Demo). Maintain ART cadence, track iteration goals, and remove impediments across cross‑functional teams (systems, software, hardware, test, logistics). Conduct Scrum of Scrum meetings with ART Program Execution Align PI objectives with THAAD system architecture, launch timelines, and stakeholder requirements. Manage the integration of system engineering artifacts (IBIS, requirements, IOT, test plans) into the PI backlog. Metrics Reporting Track ART performance metrics (velocity, predictability, quality). Produce PI and System Increment status reports for senior leadership and external Customer representatives.   The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.  Basic Qualifications 
 Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology Engineering, Mathematics) or a related discipline Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle including requirements development, integration, and analysis Experience with one or more elements of the Missile Defense Programs (such as THAAD, Patriot, AEGIS, C2BMC, etc) Experience engaging with goverment customers and senior leadership on project milestones Experiece utilizing Agile methodologies  Active or current Secret security clearance, thus US citizenship is required.  Desired Skills 
 Certified SAFe® Release Train Engineer (preferred) or equivalent Agile certification. Excellent written and verbal communication Experience acting as a Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master within a SAFe/Agile environment. Direct experience with missile defense or high‑energy weapons systems (THAAD, Patriot, Aegis) is strongly preferred. Proficiency with SAFe® core values, PI Planning tools (Jira), Python scripting, Microsoft tools suite Master’s degree in related field Proficient in AI
