Job Description - Supervise and coordinate Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage the general ledger close process and monitor compliance with established deadlines and service level agreements. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and accounting records. Lead and support the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items. Monitor and review intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and settlements. Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, SOX requirements, and applicable accounting regulations. Identify process gaps, control deficiencies, and operational risks, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Support internal and external audit activities by providing documentation, explanations, and resolving audit queries. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, standardization, and quality of R2R processes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and external stakeholders. Review and analyze financial results, investigating variances and providing insights to management. Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local accounting standards, as applicable. Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation. Lead, coach, and develop team members, supporting performance management and professional growth. Allocate work within the team and monitor productivity to ensure operational objectives are achieved. Support transitions, system implementations, and process transformation projects affecting R2R operations. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements. Prepare and present operational and performance metrics to management. Collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support decision-making. Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to improve effectiveness and reduce manual effort. Act as the primary escalation point for complex accounting and reporting issues. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities from an accounting and reporting perspective. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and strong internal
