Owning projects end-to-end-from early problem framing and stakeholder collaboration to high-fidelity design and developer handoff Shaping problem spaces by contributing to activities like problem definition, competitive analysis, writing user needs, and synthesizing insights Creating artifacts like user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs Collaborating closely with designers, product managers, growth strategists, and engineers to clarify scope, explore solutions, and ensure designs meet user and business needs Championing user needs and business goals while balancing technical constraints Presenting and communicating design decisions clearly to stakeholders Building and iterating on Vitruvian, our design system Staying curious and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design or a related field Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment Solid portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes across mobile-first applications Proficiency with Figma Proven solid communication and collaboration skills Proven user-first mindset with a passion for solving complex problems Proven iterative mindset with a focus on solving problems collaboratively over individual ideas Preferred Qualifications: Behavioral design competencies Experience using and/or designing with agentic tools Experience applying brand guidelines to digital interfaces Familiarity with Jira Familiarity with Atomic Design principles and design systems Background in healthcare or other regulated industries Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
